training to military children, families, and couples. It teaches practical
skills to help families and couples overcome common challenges related to a
military life. It helps build on current strengths and teach new strategies
to enhance communication and problem solving, goal setting and creating a
shared family story.

inTransition is a free, confidential program that offers specialized coaching and assistance for active-duty service members, National Guard members, reservists, veterans and retirees who need access to mental health care when:

Embedded Preventive Behavioral Health Capability (EPBHC) Specialist

EPBHC (pronounced ‘epic’ personnel prove subject matter expertise on the strategic application of behavioral health prevention resources to regimental and group commanders. EPBHC develop and assist in the implementation of strategic prevention plans, collaborates with unit and installation resources, in order to design and deliver targeted, unit specific, prevention efforts to support operational excellence and mission readiness. EPBHC applies public health community based approaches to address the complexity and interplay of risk and protective factors through the continuum of prevention. The prevention specialists work directly with commanders and the command team to systematically determine needs, identify emerging trends, and develop courses of action to enhance resiliency and mitigate risk factors with the potential to degrade the holistic wellness of the Marines, Sailors, and their families.
