Tomimori Asato takes video footage of combat attire that American service members wore in the Battle of Okinawa during a tour of the Camp Kinser Battle of Okinawa Historical Exhibit Dec. 18. Twenty-four local museum curators and employees visited the exhibit after they were surveyed by the U.S. Consulate General Naha and expressed interest in the exhibit. One of the consulate’s goals is to strengthen ties with the historical and cultural institutions on Okinawa, according to Dolores Prin, public affairs officer with the consulate.
