U.S. Marines with Combined Anti-Armor Team 1, Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, assigned to the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, III Marine Expeditionary Force, engage targets using M16A4 rifles while conducting a stress shoot during Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) 14 at Naval Station Leovigildo Gantioqui in San Antonio, Zambales province, Philippines, Oct. 6, 2013. A stress shoot incorporated physical exercises before shooting to increase the service members' fatigue in order to simulate combat conditions. PHIBLEX is a bilateral training exercise designed to improve the interoperability, readiness and professional relationships between the U.S. Marine Corps and partner nations.
