Marines simulate firing from underneath a vehicle while conducting dry-fire practice before a “stress shoot” April 2 on NCTS during Exercise Guahan Shield. A stress shoot is combat marksmanship training consisting of quick movement and fast shot placement, simulating real-life scenarios. Exercise Guahan Shield will facilitate multiservice engagements, set conditions for bilateral and multilateral training opportunities, and support rapid response to potential theatre crises and contingency operations in the Asia-Pacific region. The Marines are part of Company L, 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment currently assigned to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force under the Unit Deployment Program.
