Commander Mohenish K. Daughtry

Commander Daughtry serves as Executive Officer at 3d Medical Battalion, 3d Marine Logistics Group. A native of Sacramento, California, Commander Daughtry earned a Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degree in Kinesiology from California State University Northridge, CA in 2000 and 2002. She commissioned in the Navy through the Health Professions Scholarship Program in 2006 and graduated with Doctorate Degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, MO in 2010 and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.

Commander Daughtry completed a residency in Family Medicine at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL graduating in June 2013. She completed Field Medical Service Officer course at Camp Pendleton, CA, and served as the Senior Medical officer and Battalion surgeon for Headquarters Battalion, 3d Marine Division Okinawa, Japan. She supported multiple deployment exercises partnering with host nation militaries. She then transferred to U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa and served as the Department Head for Branch Medical Clinic, Bush from August 2015 to October 2017. Commander Daughtry was assigned to EMF Kilo at NMRTC Camp Lejeune and served as Faculty of Family Medicine, Assistant Department Head and Department Head and as Associate Professor for USUHS where she led the largest clinic in the command. Commander Daughtry selected her next assignment at NMRTC Pensacola as Associate Director for Branch Clinics. During this assignment, she was deployed to support Operation Allies Welcome in support of Task Force Pickett, VA from November 2021-February 2022. Commander Daughtry served as the Director for Branch Clinics at NMRTC Pensacola, FL.

Commander Daughtry is a member of the U.S. Academy of Family Physicians (USAFP), American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). She is a Fleet Marine Force Warfare Qualified Officer whose personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, (two awards) Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards), and other personal and service medals and ribbons. She was also recognized as Master Clinician at NMRTC Camp Lejeune.
