U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Alexis Bell, a landing support specialist with Combat Logistics Battalion 3, Combat Logistics Regiment 3 (CLR-3), 3d Marine Logistics Group (MLG), directs a SH-70 Seahawk with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 8 during an external lift for a vertical replenishment of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), Naval Base Guam, Feb. 25, 2021. Bell is a native of Forsyth, Montana and Medina is a native of Longmont, Colorado. 3d MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
