Andrew Crouch, both automotive maintenance technicians with Ordnance Maintenance Company (OMC), 3d Maintenance Battalion, 3d Marine Logistics Group (MLG), replace a brake pad from a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle during a field maintenance exercise at Landing Zone Kiwi, Okinawa, Japan, April 20, 2021. OMC Marines regularly conduct maintenance in field settings and terrain to maintain tactical efficiency and the ability to provide support in austere environments. 3d MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
