U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Emanuel Muniz, a heavy equipment operator with 9th Engineer Support Battalion (ESB), 3d Marine Logistics Group (MLG), clean up local worship grounds around Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Mar. 10, 2021. Marines with 9th ESB took a break from their normal duties to give Kin Town residents help with cleaning up Tumusuzu Utaki, a place of worship within the Kin community. 3d MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
