Black speaks to Marines with 3rd Marine Logistics Group (MLG) during a town hall meeting at The Palms on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, November 16, 2020. During the visit Black discussed the relationship between officers and staff non-commissioned officers that creates strong command teams capable of leading Marines with high morale and motivation. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Forces comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-pacific area of responsibility.
