U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Quincy Reynolds places a 3D printed part into an Markforged Wash-1 on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, March 17, 2020. The Wash-1 is used by machinists to debind and dry 3-D printed parts. Reynolds, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, is a machine shop staff noncommissioned officer in charge with General Support Maintenance Company, 3rd Maintenance Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3rd Marine Logistics Group.
