U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Cesar Quintero, left, operates a multiRAE detector while Cpl. The Marines ran the instruments over the entrance to a mock-laboratory to test the levels of volatile organic compounds and other chemical agents in the surrounding air and to test for toxic industrial chemicals, nerve, blood, and blister agents. Quintero, a native of Odessa, Texas, and Jones, a native of Mason, Ohio, are both CBRN defense specialists with G-3, Enhanced CBRN Section, Combat Logistics Regiment 37, 3rd Marine Logistics Group.
