U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Alex Arnold set up communication gear and equipment during Marine Expeditionary Force Exercise 19 April 22 through May 9, 2019, at Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. MEFEX 19 is a command post exercise that allows III Marine Expeditionary Force commanders and staff to practice their ability to execute command and control within a notional scenario. Arnold, a native of Columbus, Georgia, is a networking chief with Networking Platoon, Communications Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 37, 3rd Marine Logistics Group.
