Taylor, the assistant chief of staff for G-1 Manpower and Personnel Office, III Marine Expeditionary Force, spoke to Marines, Sailors and civilians about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during a commemorative service at Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 18, 2019. Taylor spoke about King’s resilience through adversity, his legacy during the civil rights movement and the dreams he had for the future during his speech.
