Kanami Oshiro, center, with her mother, Masayo Oshiro, left, present a gift to 1st Sgt. Andre S. Guay July 10 at Camp Kinser. Kanami and her mother thanked Guay for saving Kanami’s life after she was struck by a car June 16. Guay is the company first sergeant of Food Service Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 37, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
