Gunnery Sgt. Cresencio Ocampo and his family pull the lever to light the Christmas tree during a ceremony Dec. 6 at the Camp Kinser Main Exchange. “Each year, we choose a Marine or sailor who has recently returned from deployment and their family to help light the tree,” said Ronald Davis, the announcer for the event. “This year, the honor goes to Gunnery Sgt. Ocampo and his family. Gunnery Sgt. Ocampo just came back from deployment, and we’re glad to have him back, safely with his family.” Ocampo is a distribution management specialist with Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
