CAMP KINSER, Okinawa Japan

Softball players from Team Urasoe and Ryukyu Ruckus join together in a group cheer Oct. 26 following a game at Camp Kinser. The event was the first of its kind for both teams, and all the athletes hope there will be many more, according to Jamie Emery, head coach for Ryukyu Ruckus, which is based out of Camp Kinser. The competitive game ended in a tie and built friendships between members of the Urasoe and Kinser community.
