Lance Cpl. Jessica Romero, an Athens, TX native and combat engineer with Engineer Service Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 3, carries a M028 Bangalore torpedo to a breaching position during a live-fire attack at the Infantry Platoon Battle Course, Range 10 in Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii, July 20. The combat engineers were attached to 2nd platoon, Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment to breach obstacles obstructing the Marines advance through the attack as part of Exercise Lava Viper.
