Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Sgt. Mitsugu Tamashiro teaches basic Japanese to Lance Cpl. Jacob L. Crawford during a cultural exchange learning program March 7 at Camp Naha. The two-day program was conducted at both Camp Naha and Camp Kinser. Tamashiro is a is a machine gunner with the 1st Company, 54th Regiment, 15th Brigade. Crawford is a Marine Air Ground Task Force planner with 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
