Lance Cpl. Rafael A. Cardona cleans laundry Feb. 22 for Marines and sailors in Sattahip, Chonburi province, Kingdom of Thailand, during exercise Cobra Gold 2013. Basic cleaning services provided during exercises and deployments reduce the spread of illness and enable successful training. Cardona is a basic water support technician with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force. CG 13, in its 32nd iteration, is the largest multinational exercise in the Asia-Pacific region and demonstrates commitment to building interoperability with participating nations and to supporting peace and stability in the region.
