Marines of 3rd Supply Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force pay a visit to Iwo To, Japan, formerly known as Iwo Jima, during a professional military education visit here Dec. 19. The 3rd MLG Marines visited the island to show respect for those who lost their lives during the World War II Battle of Iwo Jima and to gain a better understanding of what Marines who fought here experienced.
