First Sergeant Haynes is a native of Live Oak, Florida. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in November 2007 and attended boot camp at Parris Island, South Carolina where he earned the title "Marine". He went on to Marine Combat Training, School of Infantry-East and then to Camp Johnson, North Carolina where he received the military occupational specialty of Supply Administration and Operations Specialist. His initial assignment was with 3d Supply Battalion Camp Smith, Okinawa from 2008 to 2010. There he served as a Supply Clerk and Marksmanship Coach. In May of 2010, Corporal Haynes reported to Weapons and Field Training Battalion Parris Island, South Carolina. There he served as the Fiscal Clerk and Credit Card Purchaser. In March of 2012, Corporal Haynes reported to Headquarters and Service Battalion Camp Smith, Hawaii. Upon arrival Corporal Haynes was promoted to Sergeant and assumed the title of Fiscal Chief for MARFORPAC Supply. In January of 2013, Sergeant Haynes was approved for lateral move into 3044 Contingency Contract Specialist and reported to Headquarters Battalion aboard Kaneohe Bay, HI as a 3000 for on-the-job training in order to earn the MOS of 3044. In April 2014 Sergeant Haynes went to Contracting Level I training at Camp Johnson, NC and upon graduation earned the 3044 MOS and reported back to Kaneohe Bay as a Contracting Specialist. In March 2015 Sergeant Haynes was promoted to Staff Sergeant and received orders to 3d Marine Logistics Group Headquarters Regiment aboard Camp Kinser, Okinawa. In May of 2015, Staff Sergeant Haynes reported to the 3d Marine Logistics Group Expeditionary Contracting Platoon as an Operational Contract Support Specialist. During this time Staff Sergeant Haynes went on to deploy in support of Talisman Saber 15 and Marine Rotational Force - Darwin, numerous exercises in the Philippines, and Cobra Gold in Thailand. In September 2018, Staff Sergeant Haynes received orders to Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Installation Pacific - Marine Corps Base - Butler. He assumed the billet of Simplified Acquisitions Supervisor. In December 2020, Gunnery Sergeant Haynes reported to G4 Contracting for Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. At Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command Gunnery Sergeant Haynes served as the Assistant Procurement Chief and Field Ordering Officer Program Manager. In June of 2023, Gunnery Sergeant Haynes reported to Marine Corps Base Hawaii Regional Contracting Officer to serve as the Procurement Chief. Here Gunnery Sergeant Haynes was selected to First Sergeant and received orders to report to 3d Littoral Logistics Battalion. In January of 2024, First Sergeant Haynes was frocked to his current rank and assigned to Littoral Logistics Company Bravo, 3d Littoral Logistics Battalion, 3d Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d Marine Division as the Company First Sergeant. There, he served as the Unit Senior Enlisted Leader for 3d Littoral Logistics Battalion for Littoral Rotational Force - Luzon from April 2024 to June 2024. In March 0f 2025, First Sergeant Haynes reported to Combat Logistics Company 33 where he is currently serving as the Company First Sergeant. First Sergeant Haynes' personal awards include Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (w/ one gold star in lieu of 2nd award) and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (w/ one silver and one gold star in lieu of 7th award). First Sergeant Haynes also holds a Associate of Science in Professional Studies and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. First Sergeant Haynes is married to Mary Joy Haynes and they have three children
