Command Senior Chief Jesse Roberts is a native of Bath, Maine and a graduate of Morse High School in Bath, Maine. He entered the Navy through the Navy Delayed Entry Program and reported for basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes in February 2003.  He graduated Aviation Enlisted Aircrew Training School, Aviation Rescue Swimmer School, and Aviation Machinist's Mate (AD) “A” School in Pensacola, Florida in 2003 and began his career as an Aviation Machinist's Mate, Naval Aircrewman, and Aviation Rescue Swimmer. In 2006 he was re-rated as Naval Aircrewman Helicopter (AWS).

He has served in several sea duty assignments, including Helicopter Combat Support Squadron FIVE (Guam), Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron TWO FIVE (Guam), 2515th Naval Air Ambulance Detachment (Kuwait), Task Group Trident (Afghanistan), Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron TWO SIX (Norfolk, Virginia), Laser Hawks (Bahrain), and Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron TWELVE (Atsugi, Japan).

His previous shore tours include Helicopter Combat Support Squadron THREE (San Diego, California), Naval Aviation Schools Command Aircrew School and Aviation Rescue Swimmer School (Pensacola, Florida), and Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron TWO (Norfolk, Virginia).

Throughout his career, he has completed deployments in the SECOND, FIFTH, and SEVENTH Fleet areas of responsibilities to include three combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

He was selected for the Command Senior Chief/Master Chief program in 2023 and reported as the first Command Senior Chief for 3d Dental Battalion/US Naval Dental Center Okinawa, Japan in 2024 where he currently serves.

Command Senior Chief Roberts is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 249/Red) and CMC/COB Course Class 24030. His personal awards include Air/Strike Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Army Commendation medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), Army Achievement Medal (two awards) and various other personal and unit awards. CMDCS Roberts is authorized to wear the Aircrew Warfare (NAC), Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist (EAWS), and Enlisted Information Warfare Specialist (IW) breast insignias; he is also a designated master training specialist.
