Colonel Robert P. Gerbracht

In 2019, Colonel Gerbracht assumed command of 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group. He later joined the Commandant of the Marine Corps Strategist Program and earned a doctorate in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies in 2023. He then served as the Marine Operational Liaison and Special Assistant to the Director of DARPA.

Lieutenant Colonel Matthew A. Vaughn

Captain Janine Espinal

CAPT Espinal was stationed at NMRTC Okinawa, Japan from November 2015 to June 2019 as the Department Head for Materials Management and was the command’s Sexual Assault Response Coordinator. She was also selected to serve as the Medical Logistics Community’s Specialty Leader. She was promoted to the rank of Commander in May 2018. She served as the Executive Officer of Naval Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) from August 2019 to July 2022. In August 2022, she reported as the Senior Medical Logistician and Team Lead for the Expeditionary Medical Systems Team, Combat Support Systems (CSS), Marine Corps Systems Command at Quantico, VA. She was promoted to the rank of Captain in September 2023.

Upon completion of Drill Instructors school, Sergeant Major Alvarez was assigned to Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. His assignments included Drill Instructor, MRP Instructor, Swim Instructor, and Senior Drill Instructor during his tour of duty with Mike Company. Sergeant Major Alvarez was promoted meritoriously to the rank of SSgt. In 2006, Sergeant Major Alvarez completed his Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminal Justice at National University. In January 2007, upon completion of Drill Instructor duty he received orders to 1st Battalion, 9th Marines Company B for duty as a Platoon Sergeant.

Captain Mohenish K. Daughtry

Upon completion of her assignment in Florida, she was selected for her next assignment as Executive Officer at 3d Medical Battalion, 3d Marine Logistics Group in Okinawa, Japan. There she ensured the delivery of Role 2 Health Service support through multiple internation and local exercises. The unit also demonstrated operational readiness after successfully passing the Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation during Resolute Dragon 25.

Sergeant Major Justin R. Gates

In February of 2006 Corporal Gates deployed to Iraq as an Individual Augment to Company B, 2nd MP Battalion. Here, he served as a Team Leader with 2nd Squad, leading route clearance and convoy security missions throughout the Al Anbar Province. Corporal Gates was promoted to Sergeant in September of 2006. Sergeant Gates remained in country to serve with his parent command, holding the billet of Organics Chief, leaving Iraq in March of 2007.
